Kimberly D. Benn
Kimberly D. Benn is a take-charge visionary, author, and ministry leader who expertly balances career, ministry, and family. In March 2019, Kimberly released her memoir, "THIS August: Coming Out of the Blind Spot." Kimberly shares her story with rarely seen transparency, and because of that, people gravitate to her.
Kimberly is a native of the Bronx, New York. She relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina, in the fall of 2006 for career purposes, but God had other ministry plans. Her early education foundation was in the private Parochial and Catholic schools of the Bronx, New York. She studied undergraduate at IONA College in New Rochelle, NY, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Humanities. Upon relocating to Charlotte, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from Queen City Bible College. Kimberly founded Naomi's Posture, Inc., a women's ministry in Charlotte, North Carolina. Naomi's Posture's heartbeat encourages and inspires women to stand firm in what God has said despite life's unexpected interruptions. In 2023, Kimberly was elevated to Elder in The Lord's church under Pastor, Bishop Herbert C. Crump Jr., and in September 15, 2024 she was appointed to the role of Assistant Pastor at her beloved church Freedom Temple Ministries, in Rock Hill, SC.
Kimberly's Spiritual Father, Pastor Carlton C. Spruill, Senior Pastor of Allen Memorial Church of God in Christ Family Life Center, Mt. Vernon, New York, ministered the life-changing Word, "The place where two seas meet." Kimberly believes she survived her "between season" and you will navigate yours!
